He has had a shunt since the beginning, but not until 1995 did he have any problems with seizures.

He has tried, Dilantin, Tegratol, Neurontin, & Depacote.

Cory is currently 21 years old. He is attending Idaho State University. He is taking classes in Adobe Photshop learning photo restoration. See his website at http://www.corysfotofixer.com. He is learning to drive, having purchased a mini-van with hand controls. As of July, 1997 he hasn't had a seizure. The depacote has helped. When he was in elementary school he was on the Blackfoot Swim Team and has entered several swim meets participating on the relay team.

He has a true allergic reaction to latex which he's had for several years. It seems that eveywhere he goes there is latex. It doesn't seem to bother him unless it touches his face or chest.

He attended Boy Scout camp at Island Park, Idaho, 1998, 1999, and 2000 and Camp Kostopolus, in Salt Lake the summers of 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2003. These were his first solo adventures away from home. He has really enjoyed being away from home and trying new experiences.

In October 1999, he had two rods put in his back to help straighten it out. It was a very slow recovery taking 2 1/2 months to get him back to school. He has earned his Eagle award in Boy Scouts.

Cory has gone skiing with PASS(Pocatello Adaptive Ski School) January & February 2004, which is sponsored by CWHOG (Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group) of Idaho State University, at Pocatello, Idaho. This picture was taken at Pebble Creek.

He attended the Conference on Independant Living in Boise the first of February 2005. Part of the conference he marched through downtown Boise to the Capital building and talked to his Senator about the proposed "Idahoans with Disabilities Act". This is a picture of the march.
